So a 40mm fan doesn't make a difference?
[H]ardOCP used a gigantic 20cfm fan on their northbridge and it enabled them to get up to 275fsb.
Anyone have any good suggestions?
I was looking at the Zalman NB-32J but it probably requires thermal adhesive for installation (unless someone knows a clever way to install devices that are deisgned for the other mounting type)

However, this is still a passive solution.
Anyone seen good alternatives?
Zalman fan bracket with 120mm fan blowing directly over it and the vid card! :D

I do the exact same but use an 80mm fan instead.

One of the things that might help a bit is to pull off the heat sink and apply some Artic Silver III. That was one of the first things I did before actually installing the Mobo.... after that... I have a 80mm fan blowing across my Northbridge.

I used a vantec Iceberq worked great!
