Question guys....

When you set up your system(s) do you load the OS and Applications at default speeds or at oc'd speeds?

I have been doing mine at default, however, the more I crank it up the more quirky my applications become.

Comments please....

Thanks,
Sweeper

i install while OCed. (unless its a fresh board)

if youre 100% stable you shouldnt have a problem.

I load the OS and applications overclocked (When reformating my system and reinstalling OS). If I didn't, the whole operation would take hours. A 1700+ at default speeds is really, really slow. Overclocked to 2.1 or 2.2GHz, it takes a half hour tops. . .
But, I usually do a trial install of Windows at default speeds on any *new* and untested machine with minimal drivers/apps installed to test for just the highest stable overclock. Then I use highest stable overclock to reinstall Windows and the appropriate apps. :)

I haven't done it before, but I think if I was installing an OS on a new machine I was going to OC, I would install it with the rig OC'ed. Gives the OS an oportunity to install in the environment you expect it to run in.
