Here's what I am thinking right now:

Athlon 64 3200+
1 gig Mushkin "222"
Gigabyte 8NNXP

Due to the compatabilty problems with most new mobos, I checked Mushkins site from another thread. These 2 are compatable.
All I am really wanting is a top of the line gaming machine. I want it to be rock solid, thats why I chose these components.

Should I wait until the nForce3 250 chips come out and buy this set up, or try and find reviews for the 250 compatabilty?

I have also decided to wait for the next batch to be released. I have already read a review on the chipset and looks very promising. Hopefully no memory compatability problems. I will be :fire: if I buy a gig of mushkin, and it doesn't work.

i agree, i would wait for the new NF3 250 boards for sure, otherwise i would say go for it, except i'd get a shuttle AN50R motherboard.

Is it rock solid as well? I'm not really looking to OC for quit a while just want a blazing computer, that is stable. I will eventually OC when it gets a little dated.

Well I did wait for the reviews to come and I decided to go with a Gigabyte GA-K8VNX. I read the reviews and it seems like the NF3 chips only put it on par with the via boards already on the market. Maybe the 1000 fsb could make a difference in OCing but it didn't as far as benchmarks were concerned.
