Has anyone ever had their destop icons just disappear? I turned the monitor on and nothing, nada, no icons. Everthing else is the same, just no icons. Anybody got any clues to what may have happened?

It's probably some dumb a$$ thing my 4 year old did and I can't figure it out. :hide:

Really all he did was, right clicked on the desktop went to "arrange icons by", and unchecked "show desktop icons".

I can't believe it took me over an hour and a post to figure it out :hide:

Don't feel so bad. My 4yo plays Peep on line (http://www.peepandthebigwideworld.com/) and I have to keep an eye on her. Mainly so she doesn't start pushing the wrong buttons. Last time she logged into my MSN and had Media Player going. I also swear she is the reason why my old PIII system went down the tubes so quickly after she started playing on it :lol:

Man I really gotta get her system running - gotta wait til the warm weather comes so I can finish painting outside.

OK this is just to freakin wierd. Everything you just said Snafu is exactly and I mean exactly what has happened over here as well. From the MSN/Media deal, to my sons(the only non exact thing)PC suddenly dying right soon after playing on it, to even the fact that it was a PIII system.

This is way to funny. I thought the way you are doing your case mod(just as I would do it)was a coincidence, but now this to. :eek:

And to think, I got to wait for the nice weather to finish painting my sons case to.
*plays theme music for the Twilight Zone, followed by the X-Files*
