Hello , guys
I'm looking for some memory with BH5 / 6 chips , but I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking for ...I mean I'm not sure how to recognize these chips in online store or eBay . In several reviews people say , that Kingston hyperX PC3000 is made with BH5 / BH6 , the non-A models - am I on the right way ?
I see in newegg dual pack PC3000 - 2x512 for 220 $ - is it BH5 or BH6 ?
Thanks

NON-A vs A is only valid indentifier for KHX3200 HyperX

i.e.

KHX3200/512 = BH-5
KHX3200A/512 = CH-5

for dual packs

KHX3200K2/1GB = BH-5
KHX3200AK2/1GB = CH-5

not sure for KHX3000K2/1GB

I have 1 stick of 256MB KHX3000 BH-5 labelled as KHX3000K2/512 from a dual channel pack, this individual stick does 245mhz 2-2-2-6 on AI7 with 3.18v real vdimm. Previous owner of this stick could do 255mhz 2-2-2-6 at 3.28v vdimm heh

Aida32 3.93 SPD reports this 256MB KHX3000 stick as

1x 256MB KHX3000 @ 245mhz 2-2-2-6 w/GAT = SR-E-A-D-D at 3.18v real vdimm NB Strap 800

OK ...
I got Kingston PC3000 - it does pretty good - 215 FSB on ASUS P4C800 @ 2-2-2-5 ...BH-5 , right ? Or either BH-6 , which I don't think so ...
My other question is - which mobo support higher DIMM voltages - I mean over 3V - 3.1-3.2 WITHOUT volt mods .I'm not that brave to do a volt-mod , so I'm looking for a good overclocking P4 mobo with high memory voltages, adjustable by BIOS ? IC7 MAX 3 can do it, I think , but it got issues over 2.8V , so which mobo I should be looking for ?
Thanks
