WTF???
I just got this after switching memory sticks around and changing the settings in the BIOS, but now I`m back to the original sticks at the settings I wrote down before I started switching stuff around, now on boot up, not every time, but most of the time, I get this error message....wtf? english resources?? Is that like the read me page for the Raid drivers or what?? I am running 4 SATA drives in RAID0, and everything is running fine, or seems to anyway...
Any suggestions to make the maddness end would be great.

Wow... that's a new one:coocoo: Here is a little info, I'm not clear on if it actually applies to your situation. http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support/browse_thread/thread/7575bac50a5591dd/b0eb87429bb55a26?lnk=st&q=nvRaidService.exe&rnum=3&hl=en#b0eb87429bb55a26
That little app they talk about at the end of that page may be worth checking out... even if it doesn't apply to your problem ;)

It seems that service is for the Nvidia raid controller, have you tried reinstalling your raid drivers? How about system restore? I believe something has corrupted your raid drivers, registry, or something.. if I find out any more I'll lyk.

If you solve this please post the solution :)

okay, tryed to reinstall the RAID drivers, no go.
Tryed system restore, several times going all the way back to the day windows was installed, still the error on start up.
Just did a reformat, that did it.

Dang it, I thought it did it, woke up this morning, turn on the rig, get a flash of the BSOD, and get the same error message at boot up. :(

My favorite one !!!

Been there and done that numerous time (sadly) - overclock is not right somewhere, in my case my memory timing where bunkers - check vdimm and Data/Dram strenght that also played in the scenario....

Considering you flip flopped memory sticks - have you cleared cmos in between changes ? that might possibly be something to try..

Well, I just dnld`d the latest RAID drivers for the F6 floppy off from DFI`s website and it`s been running now with those drivers off a fresh format now without any problems, but then again, it can strike at any reboot! :\
Yes, I reset the CMOS between sticks, and I have everything set the way it was originally, once windows is running everything is fine, no instabilities, prime95 and Superpi 32M and 3D games and apps stabil. I`ll report back if I see it again.
Thanks.
