As some of you know I am building my own PC. I am getting the parts separately because I cannot afford them all at once. I recently picked up the 9800pro from New Egg, it is a sapphire model that I got for 208.00 us. I held off replacing my heatsink and fan until today and as I took off the heatsink to my suprize I have one of the random cards with the R360 instead of the R350 core!!! Now I am happy still more, could on of you kind gents whom have flashed the 9800xt bios to their 9800pros give me an idea of how to do this? another question is I have a titan copper heatsink fan on the card will that be enough to cool the core if I flash it, or should I put the original back on?

I flashed my 9800Pro to 9800XT bios...had no problems with it..
Imade sure the card would OC to, and past, XT speeds before I did the flash.

THeres a great how to over on www.xtremesystems.org/forums

That being said would I benefit more from waiting until I have the new computer built before doing anything drastic? I don't want to make problems for me later on.

On another note has anyone here ever used the titan Copper Vga cooler before? still want to get the best cooling I can for this Computer but for the best price! Thanks for the replys guys, noob is grateful!

You know I was reading some posts from the above website, certain individuals were saying that they could not Oc the sapphire cards they bought above 400 in some cases!! that is funny because with my limited experience I got an Overclock of 432core/371mem stable as far as I could tell.

Like I said I am new to this but there were no artifacts and I still have the stock heatsink fan on! Below is my last score on 3Dmark2001SEpro with my still very crappy dell system(I wish I had the money to finish building my computer!!) :( as you can see the set up is limited only by the processor and Mobo setup, possibly the ram too for I am using PC800 Rdram.
