I had a stick of Corsair PC3000 cas2 go bad RMA it. Just got back today the new PC3000. I put it in my P4P800 Del with the Corsair PC3200 cas2. It runs right up there with the PC3200 stick @ 280fsb. This is with a 2,6c cpu not bad hey!

to a certain extent ~ the 6ns pc3000 (XMS and KHX) are faster then the 5ns PC3200 and in most cases overclock just as well if not better.

Can you still get XMSPC3000 ?
Cos I gotta 512mb stick in my P4B533.
I'm going Springdale very soon and obviously want dual channel.
Might save me having to buy 2x sticks of XMS3200/3500.:chit:

I here ya!!! I have one that I got back in june of last year and it does 450ddr with 2.8v and 2.5,3,3,7 (albatron 845pe pro mobo) and it may need a brother when I go to DCDDR...
The rumor was that back when those pc3000 chips were first being produced the pc3200 was just only coming out and many of those pc3000 of that time were very nice ocers. Then as the 3200's became more prevalent the pc3000 started being lame asif the pc3000 could do cas 2 at 400mhz ddr it would be labelled as a pc3200. Thus I think it could be hard to find a match for this and get as good an ocer!!!

Must be something about the XMSPC3000.
Googlegear's got it here. (http://www.googlegear.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=80086)
The DDR370 is MORE than the DDR400 here (http://www.googlegear.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=80097)

To reiterate, I had a Mushkin PC3200 running with the Corsair PC3200. I took out the Mushkin and put in the Corsair PC3OOO, and it matched the Mushkin oc for oc!

I'd say "possibly." It looks like skully was able to mix and match sticks o' RAM, so maybe you could, too;)? Or, you could buy 2 of the HyperX sticks and decide which 2 work best, selling off the 3rd?
