Sorry no poll because I honestly am still recovering from building my P4 HT system. :beat: :smash: :wack:   and finally  . My head and wallet is still kinda of hurtin'.

I'm a newbie with Java but I'm starting to use NetBeans-a free IDE that is cross platform which is very important since I'm not a Windows only user.

So what IDE or IDEs do you use for Java?

Well...the only IDE I really used for Java was Borland(Inprise)'s JBuilder.

It was ok, but I thought there had to be something better.

I downloaded a few to try, but have quite honestly not done any Java programming since then. It's been mostly C# and .NET for me lately. And as much as I dislike MS, I have to say that MS Visual Studio.NET is the best IDE I've seen yet and now you can work with all languages in the same IDE (Very nice concept....).
