Anyone experience this with Jaggedonline/Sandra folks ?

I got an email mailing from Jaggedonline.com about a special for US$29.99 for the Sandra 2004 Pro 64bit cd-rom + Test CD which is usually US$59.99. Well I decided to order online. Weeks later, the package arrives and they messed up and sent me the wrong cd-rom, they sent me the Sandra 2004 PRO SP1 32bit cd-rom instead of the 64bit edition!

The 64bit cd also includes the 32bit edition as well according to their web site here (http://www.jaggedonline.com/indexbuy.html?lang=euro&a=site_&location=buy)

Here you can purchase the full version of Sandra. This version requires Windows 64-bit and a 64-bit system (IA64 Itanium or AMD64 Athlon 64/Athlon FX/Opteron)! Also includes Win32 version, so you can compare 32-bit performance on Windows 64-bit.

Includes:
Free downloadable updates till next major release. Click here for terms.

Also for a limited time when you buy the CD you will also receive the FREE the SANDRA CD Benchmark Test disk WORTH €12.99 required to test the performance of your CDROM drive

Now they want me to fork the costs of sending back the 32bit cd-rom, before they'll send me the 64bit edition which i originally ordered!

Can anyone see how stupid this is to send back the 32bit cd ? (I've emailed them my thoughts) The 64bit edition already includes the 32bit edition as well so why the need to send back the 32bit edition at all - except to burden either me or them (if they volunteer to absorb the cost of shipping back  )

Anyone else experience this with Jaggedonline ?

Damn, Sorry to hear that. I've never had any issues with them, but I always download the software I purchase.

I'm sure they can come to a compromise with ya.

Yes, that's what I had to do as well. I paid the $60 for the version I have and yet it appears that they want me to pay an additional $30 for another CD for the SP1. This is simply not a good week for me. :p

AFAIK, there is no key just the cd-rom hence why it's only cd-rom order only

I got a reply and they said they'll send out the 64bit version i ordered and i don't need to send back the 32bit one :)

all i need to do is wait now :)
