Hm, last night I looked at the back of my PSu and it says 115 V, but it's 550 watts. What does this mean, and is there a way to change the 115 V label from the back of the PSU to 550?

Kev, Volts and watts are different man. 550Volts!!!!? WHooooooowweeeeeeee!!!! No, no - all that V means is the standard Voltage your PSU should be running off of (as in the voltage available via the plugs in your home/office). The watts are the rating for the PSU to supply all those different little amperages (http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-amperage.htm) to the various components in your PC case.

Volts, Watts, Amps - here, check this (http://science.howstuffworks.com/question501.htm) out.

Aheem. Kev um all PSU sold in US and canada run on 115V as that is what is coming out of the outlet in the wall. So it is still a 550w PSU. Remember P= I x E....P= Power(in watts)....I = Current(in amps)....E = Voltage (in volts) ;)
