I did a serch on this section ( 100 to 1 says i missed it if so sorry ).:bonk:

I would like to know how to set up a raid arry. This is for gamming and i have never done this before. So what is the fastest and best one:scratch: & how do i set it up ???

Hello Rubberduck :)

Well lets see...I am going to say you are interested in speed since you want it for gaming....(faster map loads, etc)

Is this also going to be the drive your OS is on? or are you going to use this array as storage and install your games to it? (need to clear that up before I give exact instructions for creation)

What I meant was....is the array going to be the only set of drives in your system....or do you have a separate drive that Windows is installed on...then you are adding these 2 drives (array) to your system.

Ok...so these will be the only 2 drives in the system....are they the same size....that is a must....they need to both be 80 gigs or 60 gigs or whatever?

Oh ok well there is a 160 gig and a 80 gig. So can't do it uh ?

Well if you do....then you will only get to use 80 gigs of the 160 gig drive. So you would end up with the equivalent of a 160 gig drive. (80 x 2)

Oh ok well thx for the help guess i will ue the 160 gig for windows and the 80 gig as a back up drive.
