hi all,

I have been collecting MP3's for a while now and they come in all sorts of bit rates, 128-320kbps, which I need to rip down to 128kbps so that it doesn't clog my iPod unnecessarily;). Is there any way (easy way?) for me to point an encoding app at a music folder with tons of folders which contain various MP3's and for it to rip all of the files down to 128 without me having to do each MP3 folder seperately? That would be really great!

LMK if you can help:wave:

thanks,

Erik

If you have a copy of sonic foundry's sound forge, there is a batch section in it that let's you apply the same settings to a group of files. I used it once a long time ago and I forget what I was doing, but I think it might do what you ask.
