Linksys Wired Router

Hello guys, I need a bit of advice. I have had this router for quite some time. I have used it before. I now try to connect 2 pc's up to it, and I can't get them both on the internet. They both can see that there is a router there but that's it. I was curious as to if I just download the firmware, would this solve my problem? Thanks

*note* I accidently threw the cd away that came with the router I think

No model number, nothing you sure are not helping us to help you.

Go here find your model number, you can get user guide which you should follow to ensure all steps are done. Need firmware you will also find here.

Need more help, still not working...come back with model number and provide detail of what is happening.

Like BB_One said we need the model number or we can't help you at all. Make sure your main computer with the modem is set pluged into the port 1, then connnect the second PC to port 2. Also make sure there is a ethernet cord that is pluged in the internet port on the back of the router to your modem that has the ethernet plug to it. Make sure your second computer has the software installed with the same model number of your router. After that is set you should be up and running with the internet, I hope I helped you if not then I am sorry I am a bit sick right now so I can't think straight. :(
