Apparently, Prime95 v23.8 fixes a memory allocation bug in v23.7

with v23.7 try the bug out with 1GB ram set custom FFT min and max size to 20k and prime95 will crash almost immediately on P4!

Maybe I will try it out again. I had two things against me.

1) Dual Opteron does not have much of a base for testing.
2) Using two sticks of RAM which means that I'm sharing the RAM between the two procs.

Solution to number 2 will hopefully get resolved today. Have two sticks of Corsair low latency PC3200 ECC RAM coming today. One proc will then have two sticks of the current Mushkin PC3200 ECC RAM and the other proc get the Corsair sticks. However that does mean that I'm using 2 Gigs of RAM on this system. Don't know how well Prime will do with that much RAM but it does not like my current setup with the last version they had.
