I'm looking for a good set of gaming headphones.. any one have any suggestions? I'll be using them with a X-Fi Extreme Music so I don't need any that offer their own positional audio or have a USB connection. I was looking at the SENNHEISER 165s, but they seem to have their own 3D sound codec.

Any thoughts?

This is a good thread to watch as I need a set too, I have some hi-fi studio series headphones, but in BF2 would be nice to use a mic too. :)

How do those sound Rukee? I have a stand alone USB mic that I use for TS and VOIP (bf2 :)) so good quality studio head phones should work well I would imagine... right?

I am using a set of the Sennheiser PC160s. All I can say is that the quality is REALLY superb. I would recommend any of the Sennheiser PC150s, or PC160s for gaming. The microphone on each one works really well too.

Yeah, I just got to test out a friend's 165s and they do sound really good.. at least to me. I don't have anything to compare them against though.

sorry, I didn`t see this before.
Yes they work nice, but to be honest, they are alittle big, and they get warm after awhile, and alittle heavy too. But they do sound nice. :)
