Printer Problems please help.

The printer hasn't been working for so long now I have no idea why when I wanna print somethin it says printer is not responding on the computer. When I look at the printer light it glows green which is good for like 3 seconds then keeps flashing orange I have no idea why. There is 2 ink cartridges that is empty but before I was able to print in black and white so I dunno why I cant now anyone know why? :scratch:

Try contacting the manufactrer. Those flashing lights have to mean some thing to some one. Good luck.

Yes, its trying to talk to you. :lol:
Have you tried removing the cartridges? I was having this problem with my old Lexmark printer and re-installing the cartridges did the trick. You might also want to reinstall the drivers.

Kev, I would try any and all other remedies first - and even then there are no guarantees that this will work. But, if it absolutely comes to this then go ahead and try replacing those empty ink cartridges...I mean give it a shot man, you never know.

I saw there website for my canon printer and it did 5 orange blinks it said to remove and insert the printer head I did that and still no work should I clean the printer head when I remove it wif somethin?

Kev, you say the cartridges are empty...so it probably needs ink?
