How do I remove the stock attenna and buy another linksys attenna so I can get a stronger connection because I have no idea on how to remove the attenna I'm scared of breaking it hehe.

They should screw off the back at the base of the attenna.

So any attenna would work for a linksys router? like I live in a bungalo so I aint that far away from my router so I think an attenna would do the job. So for what Andriod said the stock attenna for my linksys router should jjust unscrew itself on the back?
Never tried the Antenna upgrade. I have no signal issues inside the house. Let us know if it helps out at all. . . . Definitly curious. . . .

Got to learn to help yourself Kev, even more so if buying a product always check on the manufacturer website to grab any and all information. Who knows what else you might find, hey maybe a suggestion on which antenna to buy and how to replace the existing one.
Edit: Oh and btw, you might want to check firmware updates also, just in case your model might be affected by some of theses:

Ok I saw all the links etc... but the thing I dont understand the attenna doesnt show my routers model name all it shows it my wireless network adapter model name. It will still work if I put the attenna on my router right?

Wize move might be to buy the initial router and set it up, then see if you need to extend the signal. By placing the router in a strategic place you might not have to buy an antenna or extender.

LOL! my bad I thought you were buying a router and all...lol. :o  :o :hide: :bonk:
So I guess u found a dead spot in the house and tried placing the router in the office of your dad as oppose to your room for example. Just to see if you get better coverage.
If so and want an antenna and want to know how to replace it, the last linksys link I provided, the 2 pages thingie is all you need, the reason your router is not listed there is only because it is newer, but that is the antenna for it. :thumb:
