Hello Terry,

Thank you for your interest in RAMStore.ca

Currently we are sold out of all the OCZ PC3500 Platinum Limited Edition
Kits.

We are aware that once these kits are sold out, it is almost certain there
will no longer be anymore available due to its extreme difficulties in
manufacturing such tight timings.

We have been in negotiations to buy up whatever inventory is left with OCZ
for them, however we are not certain if there is actually anymore left.

Simply put, we will not know for certain if there is anymore left at all.
They informed us that there may be just 2-3 Kits left.

If you are interested in the 1GB Kit still, please let me know, or simply
place and order it by COD, to secure yourself one, in case we do manage to
obtain them (good likelihood).

If you have any questions, please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,

Ivan

The Ramstore.ca was asking for $525.99 for the 2 X 512 Kit. It is Obvious this ram is very hard to find. I hope your right Bigtoe that this stuff rocks with a P4 3.0.

Well the Ramstore.ca was the first distributor of OCZ in Canada so i trust those guys and why not ask $100 more if you know it is that rare. I think I got lucky this morning and got 1 gig. We shall see. Does that part number on my order mean anything to you?. Is it the limited edition stuff? The reason i ask, is that this is the first time I have ever built a system around the ram. Usually I build it around the CPU.

Since I already confessed about building a computer around a ram module, how about you make a confession. I have read all the stuff about the motherboards and stuff. I think I have done a good job of it actually with web site like this, and I was wondering if you had the choice would it be the Abit or the Asus board for the 875?

If Abit sort this VTT/Vref issue on the max3 it will become an awesome board. We have the mod they need to do, now we just want to see if they will do it.

Untill then the Asus P4C800E is about the best board although the new DFI Lanparty 875RevB is pretty awesome also...

Is there that big of a difference from the Abit MAX-G and the IC7 non g version? I mean if I take a 3.0 C to 230 on both boards will there be a difference? Stability?

IC7 has everything I will ever need. If I decide to move up to the IC7-G or Max series level, then I would go with Asus P4C800-E DLX. The memory was expensive and if I can save on the motherboard then I will upgrade my PSU to an Antec TrueBlue 480.

My goal is to have a nice overclock 225+ on a 3.0C 1:1 with very tight memory timings hence the OCZ Platinum 3500.

Thanks for your help

Well, UPS finally delivered the ram. Nice shinny stuff. Does 0 FSB right out of the box. I was thinking of just putting them in a a glass frame and mounting them on the wall. Guess I need a motherboard. Off to get a 3.0 and a P4C800-E and a power supply. They have a True Blue 480 onsale for $10.00 more than the True 430. If the True Blue 480 sucks , you have 2 hours to stop me.
