Hey all,
Well i decided to install my raptor drive finally and load windows on it.. so i did the following.
put in XP CD its slipstreamed with SP2 already
formatted C: which is a 250gig Maxtor PATA
Formatted Raptor and installed XP
everything goes fine but when it boots up and as soon as the "Windows screen" shows up it blue screens with the "blah blah blah new hardware"
so i go into safe mode which works just fine and install the chipset drivers. reboot, nothing changes same blue screen stop error.
i cant install ethernet drivers either because they wont install in safe mode so im posting from my crunching rig.
heres the specs
AMD 3200+ Venice CBBLE 0521 APAW
DFI SLI-DR BIOS 6/23-2
2 x 250gig PATA Maxtors
1 x 100gig SATA Maxtor
1 x 74gig WD Raptor
BFG 7800GTX
1 gig (2*512) Corsair TCCD PC3200XLL
Optical
Antec TPII 550W SLi Cert PSU
Koolance Liquid cooling on CPU
i also have 2*512 OCz PC4000 VX that im just not using right now.

also i have resintalled windows 3 times each time removing on of the hard drives. im down to where only the Raptor is installed on my system and it still BSOD's... i was thinking it was a drive letter problem.
