OK, the search engine is not being very helpful with what I'm looking for. I believe ThugsRook has a way to getting Windows 98SE to work on a HT system. I need that information please; otherwise, I will be building a fifth computer just for my kids to play games. I'm sick of Windows XP Pro being a worthless POS with my kids' games. :( As long as I have kids that are under 8 years of age I'm stuck using 98SE.

Why do you think I'm asking about Windows 98SE and HT? ;) I will have to use a separate computer that does not have a HT proc if I cannot use 98SE on a HT proc system. I will not disable HT for 98SE. I just happen to have an old computer that I can use if all else fails.

Computer number 5 is getting built tonight.

I have an old Dell with a 200Mhz proc and the game ran just fine on that system with Windows 98Se. Figured that since I had that Abit BH7 with a 1.7 Celery and I needed to get a case that will make this fifth computer fit in the house that the Abit system would work.

I will be using some of the hardware that is currently in the Dell, the CD-ROM, Floppy, and 4 Gig drive.

Currently existing hardware collecting dust: Abit BH7, 1.7Ghz Celeron, 16Meg Matrox G400 video card.

New hardware to complete system: Antec Overture case, 256Meg of cheap but highly oc'able RAM.

Total cost to build new system: $140.

Hmmmm, same as the cost of Windows XP Pro. :p :D
