It is pretty awesome stuff! THis is the first high speed ram I have had that would run pretty tight timings AND also had the ability for the high fsb. Here is what I had achieved:

* 200fsb - 2-3-3-6
* 217fsb - 2-3-3-6
* 233fsb - 2.5-4-3-7
* 250fsb - 2.5-4-3-7
* 267fsb - 2.5-4-3-7
* 275fsb - 2.5-4-4-7
* 280fsb - 3-4-4-8

I am starting ton wonder htough I fi have some type of limit on my board. Seems 280 1:1 is all I am able to get. THough I know my cpu can do 301 at 5:4 and 3:2.

THis is on a p4c800E

Nice PJ, but I don't think the limitation is with your board, most likely the ram. Hard for any ram to run 1:1 over 280fsb with the current technology. Guess we will have to wait for DDR600. :)

Thor,

I agree, it likely is not the board. THe only reason I am wondering this is due to having two different sets of ram (OCZ 4000 and now the 4200) that stops at the exact same place. Was just kind of odd... that's all.

Its the board i think PJ, I can run 290+ on some boards and 260+ on others, all with the same modules.

290fsb 1:1?! That's crazy. :)

I think the CPU is defective....better send it to me. ;)

Seriously though, great to see how versatile this ram is. You can choose between 1:1 higher timings or 5:4 and tighten things up. :yummy:
