i think i hit the sweet spot.
my idle temps @ 60.5° f ambient are 31-32°c. my load temps are 33-34°c ( mostly 33°c :D )! the thermal stuff i used is Shin-Etsu, i was using ceramique. no matter what i run or do to the machine, it wont go over 34°c... when temps are that close, you done something right.

one reason for this is the removal of the IHS: oo00oo00o scarry!

a rusty razor and 15 minutes got me 5° cooler @ load!

just took my time, went from corner to corner and rocked the razor back and forth ( with pressure away from the pcb of the cpu ) until it cut through the black goop... and it popped of no prob... not before i bent some pins tho, about 5 in total :rolleyes:
totally worth my effort, as long as i dont crush the core now... :stop:
