A quick question for this learned group, I am running the Viewsonic VP171B at present and I am very pleased with it in every respect except for size, but I digress...I've noticed that all the letter "i's" and "l's" when running on a light background exhibit a red outline around them...is there a fix for this?

I noticed something similar on the wife’s Sceptre X7s except it was on the tops of the letters. I didn’t worry too much since she didn’t notice it.

Are you running at the native resolution?

Did you try changing fonts?

What about turning on/off font smoothing?

I did all that you mentioned and it almost nonexistent now...wasn't bad at all to start with. I just wondered if it was something that I was overlooking!

Cool, glad you got it sorted :)

I got to get me one of those sometime soon, but I can’t give up on my ViewSonic PF790 yet. :D
