Wow, fast! If AMD can pump up the volume (and clock) on those A64s - they'll rule!

It's amazing how well these CPUs scale when overclocked! :D I'm just waiting at the moment but a A64 3200+ and nF3 250 are probably in my future.

Unfortunately, I don't see myself upgrading my CPU/Mobo for at least a year :( At least there should be some really fast stuff out by then.

I may get a new vid card, but that'll be about it (ah, the realities of the post Y2K/INET boom  )

i too got a amd64 and WAS going to get an asus k8v se mobo but they were out, so i havent ordered it yet.....and my friends are suggesting a nf3 150pro....

should i go with the nf3150pro or stick with the asus k8v se deluxe?

all i know is that it ****es me off that i wont have dual channeled memory becuase of having a non-fx model athlon64. =\

at least i bought an OCZ 2x512=1gig premier kit so i can overclock or just have a smooth gig to hold me over till i can afford an fx or until amd comes out with new 64's that support dual channeled ram.

but yeah until i get a mobo im stuck sitting around with 50 bucks in my pocket and:
athlon64 3200+
ocz premier 2x512 kit
and a new albatron 400w ps with 120mm fan

ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR A MOBO??? all i require is giabit lan, 1 firewire, 2 usb 2.0, sata, and raid......

I just recieved all my goodies today. ALthough I haven't set it up yet, Just making sure my memory is good to go on this setup before I go adding all kinds of variants into the equation. I bought a gigabyte K8VNXP to go with my Athlon 64 3200+, I'll put it togehter tommorow or friday. I can let you know then. Its a VIA chipset and they pretty much all run the same, just some mobo manufactures have better bios updates than others.
