i just did this today.

the fans that cane with my enermax 550w psu were pretty weak so i replaced them with a pair of panaflo M1A fans (1x 92mm, 1x 80mm) wired to a single 4pin molex.

was very simple and very easy.
my PWM temp dropped 3*C :chit:

Just a heads up on splices...... The absolutley best one you can get are easy to find at any General Motors dealership. They use crimp splices that "heatshrink" to the wire, as a bonus, they have a sealant inside that makes the splice completely sealed. (not so important for pc's, but essential to automotive work).

You can probably find these elsewhere, but in the rural area I live, the local GM dealer is my only option. Check them out, great splices that look a lot better than the generic plastic ones.

boshuter, I know exactly what you're talking about and I agree, they're very nice. Essential for cars...;):) Thanks for the tip! :-)
