Hi!
Do you know some software that can backup different part of setting in windows.
I read a review about acronis here and it was good. But I do not know what to use for backup of outlook emails and custom files. :?:
Is it somthing that you can recommend or what are you using?

I use acronis, since it was highly recommended by some members of the BE crew, and basically what it does is create an image of the drives...so when the image is created, all files along with their settings are retained within that snapshot. You can also set it to only backup changed files rather than the entire image of the drive as well.
If you are trying to backup say personal Outlook folders and settings, registry backups, or program/game file settings, this is something you will need to do manually...
Some ideas are, Windows backup, Acronis and Ghost. They all have their own strengths and weaknesses.
If you want files, go for Windows Backup. For a full system recovery and or image, go with Acronics or Ghost.

If you are using Outlook 2000 or 2002 (not sure about 2003), MS has a auto backup add on for Outlook that will export your PST file (this stores all your Outlook folders [Inbox, Sent, Deleted, Calendar, etc]) to any folder or drive you specify, and at the interval you specify as well.
