I'm glad to see this started :thumb: Kinda gives us poor Intel guys something to do.. :D This is the best I've gotten so far and have a lot of tweaking to do, this cpu will bench at 4.4 but I have to get the memory right and run some more tests.

BTW; has anyone noticed that they get better scores with the video card at default? I tried mine at default 540/590 and then at 600/600 and got a better score with default clocks. I experienced the same thing a while back on another system with an X800XT card. I'm not sure if it's the ATI card, the Intel system, or what? :coocoo:

Anyway.... here we go 6948 (http://service.futuremark.com/servlet/Index?pageid=/orb/projectdetails&projectType=11&projectId=2981285)

Come on Boshuter - you can get 7000!

I did have an issue with the 64 line test, Malinois1 told me to try a different driver, and that fixed it. I used to find the same issue as you, but after changing the driver, I upped my GT from 359/1000 to 440/1200 and gained a small percentage. SLI loses me 10% on the score - I suppose thats because its an extra strain on the cpu. Maybe its the same with a GFX O/C and Intel? Eva might have mor idea - he doesn't care what he uses as long as its fast!

Anyone know if gpu has an impact on this test? Am thinking of running it on Di as long as my X600 ain't gonna hurt my score. :)

glorfy
06-12-2005, 05:16 AM
Overclocking my card from 350/1000 to 440/1200 had a very small impact on the results.

The 64line memory test(?I think) went from 3000 to 3150. Be interesting to find out though Harleybro!

On all my systems with ATI cards and Intel cpu's, oc'ing the card lowers the score. I've seen other report the same thing. I haven't figured out if it's the ATI cards or Intel system that causes it. It seems that most of the big scores (at least in the single core Intels) are done with Nvidia cards; that could just be a coincidence though. :coocoo: I'm thinking about pulling my X850 and sticking in an old PCI card to see what happens.

Lol well cancel the x600 looks like it might be a 8MB PCI card if I can ever get this system running this weekend. :beat:

Hmmmm not sure what was going on this weekend. Was runnin through this at somewhere above 3400Mhz. I left my graphics at stock w/ the X600. The graphic test failed every time after testing the card mem. (the screen w/ blue and pcmark04 scrolling.) :coocoo:

Well I was so depressed at my poor showing on PCMark05 I decided to warm my system up again. Number 6 on the orb for single AMD CPU's is the result.

why won`t mine spit out a score?? says I have to enable the system suite to get a score, but it ran all the system tests.

I have no option to select system suite.

Rukee..... look at your results under "multithreaded test 3" and you will see that the grammer check test failed. If any test fails it will not give you a score. This is cause by to high an oc most of the time. This bench is tough to run, I can't run it at nearly as high an oc as any other bench.

glorfy
08-25-2005, 02:46 PM
That's the same test mine fails  Passes PCMark05, and Dual Prime, but can't complete the grammer check :suspect:

Email address doesnt work? I Named it my BE name I hope that helps. I see alot of huge scores here. Very impressive I think. You should make one Intel, and one AMD PCMARK thread. Intel processors tend to do better than AMD's in PCmarks I've seen. Its hard to know whats what. I'd like to compare with AMD guys. But It makes it kinda hard. LOL

Yeah flex, it shows on the orb that I was running 3683. Well that is off by 1000+mhz!!
You see Epox has this Gizmo called Real time Turbo in the bios On their newer boards it goes as high as 276 on the real time turbo on my board it goes to 230. When I benched last night I was at 292fsb which in reality is like 292.9 fsb for a speed of 4690mhz!! But, the real time turbo fools everything but Sandra it is the only one that will read my real speed. Hey I have got this little 540J to boot and run for a few 300 fsb but not for long. I have only 1.535V-core available to me.
