I couldn't download the txt but followed instructions and the program doesn't run. I see the black box of ms-dos flash and then the time.txt file has all things at 0....

Time to Insert: 1.093
Time to Find: 237.829
It's from a 3.0C at 3.0GHz on a P4P800-D with 2 x 512MB of Mushkin PC32oo Level II @ 2-3-3-6.

It looks like RAM bandwidth affects the insert scores :p
The rest is pure CPU
heres my score when @ 3.2
Time to Insert: 1.062
Time to Find: 221.813
Time to Remove: 0
Total Time = 1.062

Ok...
I was running my 2.4@3.15ghz (1.53v)
with internet still connected...3 pages open....no reboot or restart in 2 weeks....
Time to Insert: 0.938
Time to Find: 233.875
Time to Remove: 0
Total Time = 0.938
I will boost it back up to 3.24ghz and try a fresh restart and see what I get....

Ok...3.24ghz (w/1.6v)...fresh restart no internet or apps except for the startup ones....
Time to Insert: 0.964
Time to Find: 224.594
Time to Remove: 0
Total Time = 0.964
Looks like a little variation in insert time and a change of 4.1% of performance in "time to find" for a 2.8% increase in clock speed. So obvious the internet connection was stealing cycles...

Hi guys,
I'm glad everyone is enjoying running the program I wrote. Sorry if you're having problems downloading th files but I'm using one of those free hosting sites and they offer limited bandwidth per day. :)

Nice little proggy twinturbo! But what are they exactly suppose to measure? I figure memory bandwidth and cpu of course is involved, but to which test? and what were you looking for when you made this?

Thanks for the welcome. BTW I improved upon the program last night by correcting some bugs and making it a little more user friendly. Please try this new version and tell me what you think.
