1. how can i have the same IE profile on all my PC's?
meaning, I want my cookies to be consistent across all the
PC's so when surfing from any computer, it remembers things
like when I went to this forum last

2. if i have a laptop with a wired AND wireless lan card, which
one is working when plugged into a router with a cable?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Have you tried using “roaming profiles” I’m not exactly sure how to set it up, but there should be some info in the windows help files.

It might do what your looking for.

Not sure on # 1

#2 I assume the router is not wireless? If so, the wired Ethernet connection is active. If it is a wireless router, use one or the other.

To get roaming profiles, youd have to have a server setup and probably a domain as well.

Easiest way would be to do the IE -> Import/Export -> Cookies/Favorites to each PC....but it wouldnt keep the last time you were at the site loaded I think

How about setting up a network drive share on one of the PC's and setting each PC to use the folder for temp internet files and cookies?

It's a laptop, so it's not that simple....

Thanks for all the replies!! Got to do some research now...
