I have sold over 300 of those boards and have 3 in stock right now as socket 478 winds down. Never had the guts to do those mods.
Shimmishim, check your email please.

ASUS service sucks!! :|
My mobo failed over a month ago and since the retailer I bought it from
has gone out of business I have repeatedly contacted (& re-contacted) ASUS service about getting a replacement:
hxxp://vip.asus.com/eservice/techmailstatus.aspx?ID=WTM20070218140156483
but I get only "have a nice day" responses from ASUS 'rep' Sky_Lui -- if I get any at all.:irk:
Looks like bin it and buy MSI
Note: There are several of my e_mails missing from the list, especially
those referring to "retailer out of business". Ummm . . . odd that. :suspect:
